SZ-RR Version 2 .0 has been recently created with Yamaha's New Generation Engine Development Ideal – 'Blue Core' that brings driving satisfaction, fuel efficiency and environmental efficiency to all-new levels. Its vital functions consist of the latest engine that sustains the feeling of energy delivery from the original SZ Series models though highly enhancing fuel proficiency (11% improvement vs. 2013 model), Newly engineered tubeless tire, Newly constructed device panel, a group of several additional features that can make it worthy of a 149cc class model, like a handlebar holder with the "SZ" logo and shroud fitted to contribute an extra sporty essence.

149cc Powerful Blue Core Engine
SZRR version 2.0 has an all new air-cooled 149cc 4-stroke, SOHC, single-cylinder engine with Yamaha's New Generation Engine Development Ideal - 'Blue Core' that takes riding enjoyment, fuel efficiency and environmental performance to all-new levels which gives power delivery from the original SZ Series models while greatly improving fuel efficiency (11% improvement vs. 2013 model)
Large 245 mm disc brake for better control. The newly designed lever for the front brake has a design that gives a good feel to the grip. The front brake caliper is a single-pot type that ensures good serviceability while providing plenty of stopping power. This is matched to fine-tuned hose rigidity and master cylinder spec to produce a linear braking feeling.

"Powerful" aspect of the design is the side covers. These covers have been sculpted to look like a part of the frame which gives the body a Stylish & robust look and 3D emblem gives futuristic look to the design.
A new 3D emblem is added on the air scoop surface to accentuate the "SZ" brand identity.
Wide Comfortable Seat
The seat has plenty of cushion thickness and is designed to provide enough space for comfortable riding which leads to fatigue free long rides for the rider as well as the pillion.
Large Fuel Tank
The large-capacity 14L fuel tank makes long-distance rides possible. The cap is hinged, so you don’t have to hold it when refueling.
The instrument panel's speedometer and tachometer feature new dial designs for a sportier look.
The large size front fender has a modern design which protects the rider from mud splashes & water. The front fender is combined with the shapes of the shroud and fuel-tank to create a 3-dimensional downward lunging body line, which in turn gives an impression of speed to the design.
The side covers have a new shape and new exterior finish with a more robust look.
The rear suspension has a lightweight single-coil spring. The long stroke of 100mm ensures a comfortable ride even with a pillion rider.
Split Grab Bar

The grab-bars have been made of a die-cast aluminium type for an added touch of quality and reduced weight. They also have a redesigned shape that is easy to grasp.
The new design features separate left and right bars for improved on-board comfort for the tandem rider.
